The APAC Project Engineer – Level II will be responsible for:
- Developing and processing the PPAP process assuring the following:
- Supplier control plans are effective and efficient based on the manufacturing process.
- All technical requirements per design are communicated and confirmed by the supplier and are represented in the manufacturing process.
- Error proofing has been applied to the manufacturing process guaranteeing repeatable and reliable production.
- Accurate cycle time measurements have been determined and put in place for accurate process forecasting.
- Communicating, tracking and managing supplier activity from PPAP launch through the first production run via TBG internal reporting; communicating activity daily to TBG engineering team.
- Creating documents such as dock audits, PPAP templates, balloon drawings, PFEMA’s and manufacturing and quality control plans
- Identifying and developing Poke Yoka (error proofing) concepts.
- Identifying the following:
- The required manufacturing process based on print interpretation.
- Raw material requirements and/or equivalents.
- Gauges and/or gauge system required to inspect parts from print interpretation.
- Appropriate inspection equipment and methodology for the process.
- Demonstrating physical competency with instrumentation to inspect parts.
- Reviewing documents and reverting back to supplier the required corrections needed for a successful PPAP sampling.
- Communicate technically to TBG customers and suppliers.
- Providing solutions to TBG customers
- Exhibiting a sense of urgency and excellent communication follow up with all internal coworkers and customer engineering.
- Willing to travel and audit suppliers when required.
- Communicating to Quality Technicians
- Training all subordinate positions within APAC engineering.
