Responsibilities

Create and process Dock Audits
Create and process PPAP documents
Track and manage local supplier cycle times when requested
Provide video reviews of new local suppliers when required
Inspect PPAP samples at local suppliers
Inspect Production parts per AQL at local suppliers
Review documents and revert back to supplier when corrections needed
8D capability and application if needed
Provide technical support as needed to supplier
Work with supplier to build Gantt charts and robust Control Plans as required
Join Teams meetings as required – Huddles
Report dock audit activities to engineering team
Perform supplier and process audits as required in local area
Schedule inspections in areas outside of local area
Perform document control tasks, such as print control

Qualifications

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineer degree
1-4 years’ experience/training with metrology equipment such as CMM, height gauge, profilometer, mics, etc.
Mini-tab experience preferred
Quality Inspection experience required
Willing to travel
