The APAC Sr. Quality Engineer will be responsible to:
- Create and process Dock Audits
- Create and process PPAP documents
- Track and manage local supplier cycle times when requested
- Provide video reviews of new local suppliers when required
- Inspect PPAP samples at local suppliers
- Inspect Production parts per AQL at local suppliers
- Review documents and revert back to supplier when corrections needed
- 8D capability and application if needed
- Provide technical support as needed to supplier
- Work with supplier to build Gantt charts and robust Control Plans as required
- Join Teams meetings as required – Huddles
- Report dock audit activities to engineering team
- Perform supplier and process audits as required in local area
- Schedule inspections in areas outside of local area
- Perform document control tasks, such as print control
Requirements:
- Hands on experience in PPAP Documentations
- Must have manufacturing process knowledge on Forging, Casting, Machining, Fabrication
- Hands on experience in precise measuring instruments
- Resolving the quality issues with 8D report
- Internal Auditing can be a additional advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Assist in QMS activities
- Quality Inspection experience required
- Up to 50% travel may be required to visit supplier locations for on-site inspections, ensuring parts meet quality standards and specifications.
